A mature pumpkin seeds


1 1 / 2 cup pumpkin seeds
Ariston 2 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon blackening Bayou balm


1 Preheat oven to 300 F.
2nd Although it is okay to leave some strings and pulp on your seeds (it adds flavor), clean up any large pieces.
3rd Toss pumpkin seeds in a bowl with olive oil and Ariston Bayou blackening balm.
4th Spread pumpkin seeds in a single layer on baking sheet.
5th Bake about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.


Pumpkin Pancakes with Pumpkin Maple Sauce


Pancakes
1 bag Maple Flapjacks Mix
1 3 / 4 cup milk or soy milk
1 / 2 cups mashed pumpkin (like Libby's)
1 large egg
2 tablespoons vegetable oil


Pumpkin Maple Sauce
1 cup maple syrup
1 1 / 4 cup pumpkin puree
1 / 4 tsp pie spice


To Pumpkin Maple Sauce:


1 Heat the maple syrup, pumpkin and pie spice in small saucepan until warm, cover and set aside.
To make pancakes:
2nd Combine Maple Flapjacks mixed with milk, pumpkin, eggs and vegetable oil in a small bowl, mix well.
3rd Add to flour mixture.
4th Stir just until moistened, batter may be lumpy.
5th Heat griddle or skillet over medium heat, brush lightly with vegetable oil.
6th Pour 1 / 4 cup hot pasta to the pan, cook until bubbles begin to burst.
7th Turn and continue cooking 1 to 2 minutes, repeat with remaining dough.
8th Serve with prepared sauce, pumpkin Maple.
