Testy Recipes That Use Canned Seafood

Mouthwatering Salmon Burgers


Ingredients:


1 16 oz. may Alaska Canned Salmon, drained
2 eggs
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 / 4 cup dry seasoned bread crumbs
1 / 4 cup chopped fresh Italian parsley
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 / 2 teaspoon dried basil
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 package of hamburger buns


2 tablespoons ranch dressing
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 pinch chopped fresh basil


Directions:


Combine salmon, egg, onion, bread crumbs, and onion in a medium sized bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 / 2 teaspoon basil, and salt and pepper to taste. Form mixture into six patties and package each of them tightly, resulting in a circle that is about half an inch thick.

Ingredients:


2 16 oz. cans of Alaska Canned Salmon
1 12 oz. can evaporated milk
1 15 oz. can creamed corn
1 / 2 pound Monterrey Jack cheese, shredded
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup chopped onion
1 / 2 cup chopped celery
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups diced potatoes
3 carrots, diced
2 1 / 2 cup chicken broth
Salt
Pepper
1 teaspoon dried dill

Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Saute your onions, celery and garlic powder until onions are tender and brown. Be careful not to burn them. Stir in potatoes, carrots, chicken broth, and dill. Add salt and pepper to taste. Bring entire mixture to a boil, then reduce heat. Cover and let simmer 25 minutes.


Stir in canned Alaska salmon, evaporated milk, cheese and corn. Cook until heated through, about another 10 minutes.
